FILLES A PAPA (aka FAP) was founded in 2009 by Belgian sisters and design duo Carol and Sarah Piron. Soon joined by fashion photographer Gregory Derkenne, the creative team built a brand and an attitude.
To them fashion and style are a question of identity. And, this identity is deliberately rebellious, unafraid and cool, it's relaxed yet sharp. Boyish looks nod to menswear and brazen slogans give the clothes a voice of their own. The pieces combine rawness with glamour, a sense of cynicism with a youthful optimism.
FILLES A PAPA, which translates to 'Daddy's Girl', has been seen in numerous issues of Vogue, Nylon and Love, among others, and continues to infiltrate the fashion scene with off-beat clothes and a charmingly anarchistic attitude.
